Writing, Publishing, and Promoting with God's Anointing
Have you ever felt like the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7—staring at what seems like nothing, wondering how you’ll move forward? Your Words Carry Oil
The widow thought she had nothing, but she did have something—oil. Your words, your testimony, and your message are the oil that can bring healing, encouragement, and transformation to others. The anointing flows in the areas where you have been crushed. The lessons you've learned, the struggles you've overcome, and the wisdom God has given you—these are the stories the world needs.
Listen to the Holy Spirit & Take Action
When the widow cried out for help, the prophet gave her divine instructions: “Here’s what you do...” (2 Kings 4:3). As an author, you need to tune in to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. What is He prompting you to write? What step is He asking you to take? Inspiration is powerful, but action is key.
Your Book is Birthed in the Secret Place
The prophet told the widow to “shut the door behind you” as she poured the oil. Your book is cultivated in the secret place—when you co-labor with God in prayer, reflection, and writing. Don’t rush the process. The deeper you go with Him, the richer your message will be.
Stop Speaking Limits—Make Room for More!
The widow’s son said, “There are no more jars,” and the oil stopped flowing. Are you limiting yourself with doubt, fear, or excuses? God can pour as much as you make room for! Speak life over your writing, your creativity, and your book’s impact.
Step Into the Marketplace with Boldness
At the right time, the prophet told the widow to “go sell the oil.” There comes a time when you must unlock the door and step out in faith. Your book isn’t just for you—it’s for the people God has called you to reach. Don’t be afraid to share, promote, and step into the marketplace. Someone is waiting for the message God has given you!
It’s time to pour, trust, and step forward in faith. The oil will keep flowing as long as you keep making room for God to move.
