Author Interview: Bruce Cross, Solitary Refinement
What happens when life doesn’t unfold the way you hoped, but God is still writing your story?
On this week’s episode of the Answering the Call to Write Podcast, I talk with Bruce R. Cross, one of the talented authors featured in Paper Crowns Volume 2. Bruce contributed a moving chapter titled “Solitary Refinement,” where he shares how a series of career disappointments shaped his faith and deepened his trust in God’s plan.
Though doors closed and dreams seemed delayed, Bruce never stopped believing that the music God placed inside him was meant to be heard. An avid blogger known for his powerful life analogies, Bruce encourages us to remember:
