Imposter Syndrome is something that many of us experience when we step outside of our comfort zone. Taking the step to write, publish, and share your message with the world, may result in having to contend with this issue of feeling like an imposter.
Do you retreat? Do you hide your light? Absolutely not!
Today's special guest on the Answering The Call To Write Podcast is the wonderful Jenilee Samuel, host of the Java with Jen podcast. Jenilee is passionate about helping people hear God's voice in their everyday life. In the process of starting her podcast, she has also contended with Imposter Syndrome.
In this episode, she tells us how to recognise the symptoms of Imposter Syndrome. She also shares some examples of our heroes of faith who dealt with Imposter Syndrome and how we too, can overcome it.
God is incredibly patient with us. He understands our weaknesses and meets us where we are. He will never revoke His call on your life because you feel overwhelmed by stepping out of your comfort zone. Let Him help you and give you the strength and direction you need to take that step of faith, write that book, start that podcast, share your story, and shine your light!
