Since earning her degree in counseling, she has spent over 3 decades walking alongside countless individuals who needed to get unstuck from the past and move into a more promising future.
Hello! I'm Glenda.
As a 22-year-old farmgirl from the small community of Lipton, Saskatchewan, Canada, I decided to move to the big city of Portland, OR., to pursue my dream of becoming a counselor.
Little did I know I was pursuing that desire for all the wrong reasons. After circumstances led me to a personal awakening, six years post-graduation, everything changed for me. I began to examine my motives, which put me on a path of self-discovery and healing.
I’m thankful that sometimes life's “dead-ends” force us to evaluate what needs to shift. When we allow light to be shone into our darkness, the lies we believe can be fully exposed, which will change our thinking and the direction of our lives. I hope to walk beside you and empower you to examine the areas of your life in which you may be settling for less than life has to offer.
On a personal note, I am passionate about connecting with family and friends. I enjoy movies and various sports, and I love relaxing in the beauty of the Pacific NW. One fun fact–I have had the privilege of officiating weddings on a beach, a ski hill, and a backyard, as well as in churches and other venues. Presiding over the ceremonies of nieces and a nephew has been my greatest joy.
Thank you for joining me–I promise to be your biggest cheerleader!
