Meet Bruce R. Cross
Bruce is a devoted Christ follower of nearly 50 years and a lifelong seeker of God’s Kingdom. He lives in the rolling hills of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Jackie. He’s a proud father of three grown daughters and a joyful “Papa” to eight grandchildren.
A lover of the outdoors, Bruce finds peace biking through nature and reflecting on life. He’s also a self-proclaimed “wannabe chef,” a curious reader, and someone always striving to grow.
Encouraging others is central to Bruce’s mission. He sees himself as a work in progress—committed to being a godly influence and helping people rewrite their life stories with hope and purpose. He’s especially moved by stories of perseverance and underdogs who rise against the odds.
For more than a decade, Bruce has shared his thoughts and faith through his blog, where he invites readers to consider one powerful question: “What makes you become fully alive?” His writing aims to inspire transformation and deeper identity in Christ.
Bruce draws inspiration from Isaiah 61:1–2, a passage that fuels his passion to bring comfort, freedom, and hope to the brokenhearted. He knows both the pain of longing and the joy of fulfillment—and he invites others to journey toward a life rooted in healing and purpose.
