I wrote and published my first book, Untangled, in November 2020. I was so excited to launch this book. Friends and family joined in and celebrated with me. They even bought several copies of my book. But once the hype died down, it became rather anticlimactic. My book started collecting digital dust on the Amazon platform.
The thing is... I didn't write my book for my friends and family. (As much as I love and appreciate them). I wrote it for the people who are stuck in the pit of despair. People who needed the truth that set me free.
I knew God called me to write, so I couldn't understand why my book wasn't selling. It took me a few years to learn how to connect with my ideal reader and to grow a platform by showing up authentically, and solving problems for the people I was called to serve.
Today, I have an established platform with over 3,000 subscribers who are eagerly receiving the message God has given me.
I wish I had known how to grow my audience before I published my book. But that God, it wasn't too late. He gave me the tools I needed to get my message out into the world. And I would love to share them with you.
